How you can donate and
help Richwood Church
Mission is a tithing committee, budgeting 10% of the Church Budget. All of the mission work RPC participates in includes but is not limited to:
Bimonthly meals and worship for Fairhaven Rescue Mission where we feed the body and soul
Providing a Day in the Country for the inner city children from West Cincinnati
Participating in Richwood’s VBS
Helping neighbors and Church members with projects the Church supports
Community Action Commission providing food and personal care items
Serving Collins Elementary by providing backpack supplies
Meals for families at Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas
A “Lil Food Pantry,” A Blessing Box is being set up in Walton, KY.
Quilters for Comfort formed 8 years ago and is now a group of 19 sewers from neighboring churches coming together every Monday, making queen size quilts to give to folks who have lost all possessions to a disaster. The queen size quilt is blessed in worship then sent with a Bible and note of comfort.
Support is given to Presbyterian Missions, Gideons, Louisville Theological Seminary (Bookends Program), KY Council of Churches, Family Nurturing Center, Women’s Crisis Center and Buckhorn Family Services.
Richwood participates in Souper Bowl Sunday by collecting cans of soup and having the Sunday School folks bring in veggies for Stone Soup that cooks thru worship and served afterwards, reminding us of how a little can go so far. Cans of are soup and monetary gift are then donated to Fairhaven Rescue Mission.
Richwood supports the four main offerings of PCUSA.
